I will be emailing all ticketholders shortly with details of what happens next. I have held on for as long as possible in the hope that bookings would improve. I don't want to let anyone down, not the enthusiastic supporters, performers or stall holders but without more attendees the festival is less than viable. I have tried everything that I can think of to get folk to pay to come to the festival. It just isn’t happening. Of course I have looked at all the options, and no matter how I have tried to save some part of the event at the cost of another, I conclude that it cannot be salvaged without incurring even greater financial loss. Yesterday evening I made the decision, based on the returns from the ticketing agency, and last night slept though a full night for the first time in a week".
